You can donate at any time by simply writing your check to the International School PTSA and sending it to school: 445 128th Ave. SE, Bellevue, WA 98005

One of the most important tasks for any school PTSA is raising money to support important activities that are not covered in the regular school budgeting process.

International School families are very generous in their support of our special school and the PTSA appreciates your donations. Every donation -- of every size -- is important.

The International School's main fundraising strategy each year is the Annual Fund. It's pretty simple: we remind the school community that it is time to donate, and the friends and family respond with remarkable generosity.

PTSA then works with the parents, administration and teachers to fund important learning projects, both large and small. Recently funded activities include: a climbing wall for the small gym, a new monument sign at the school entrance, performances and workshops at school by the Seattle Shakespeare Company, guest experts to come to school and interact with various classes, student retreats, and classroom supplies ranging from graphing calculators to painting easels to fetal pigs for biology dissection.

Other small opportunities for funding pop up during the year. For example, parents recently stepped in and helped pay for such things as printed T-shirts for Badminton team uniforms, posters for the drama performances and comfortable chairs to create a reading nook in the library.
